History: Winston and Weston Doty were two of the very first stars of the Our Gang shorts. It is unrevealed if they didn't click with fans or if they were just phased out by the other more popular stars like Mickey or Jackie, but they didn't seem to gain any popularity as the others. It's also not revealed why they didn't appear in more shorts together. Possibly, Weston just wanted to drop out, but this can't be confirmed. Ten years after Winston appeared in Lodge Night, both the boys drowned in a horrible California flood on New Year's Day 1934. They share a grave at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery in Santa Monica, California.
