Uncle Tom's Cabin is a famous anti-slavery novel written by abolitionist Harriet Beecher Stowe in the Nineteenth Century. Without any copyright laws to protect, it was made into silent films several times between 1903 to 1922 and even a few kiddie stage plays by Mickey Daniels, Breezy Brisbane and Spanky McFarland.
