In One Wild Ride, Johnnie uses his grandfather's horse Evangeline to push an old car with no motor or brakes. Jackie is his crew. The fare is one cent a ride, and a sign says "Pay as you enter." Johnnie and Jackie give rides to Joe, Mickey, and Mary, but not Farina. When the grandfather takes the horse away the gang gets tows uphill and coasts back down for a little while. When they leave, Farina hooks the taxi to a truck and soon breaks loose, embarking on a long wild ride which culminates in the taxi overturning at the bottom of a hill.
