The Short[]

Plot: Jay R. has been left to take care of his brother and sisters as his mother heads out of the house. Meanwhile, a storm comes up that grounds them all inside without anything to do. Wheezer, Jean, and Mildred end up drawing on the walls with chalk, and when Jay R. discovers their artwork after meeting the gang in their gym, he calls upon the gang to help him. Joe announces that his father is a wallpaper-hanger, and the gang agrees to repaper the house. They create their own paste with self-rising flour, to which the little siblings add all sorts of junk, that gets all over everything, yet, Jay R. is convinced he's doing a good job. On several occasions the wallpaper moves as if it has a life of its own. When Jay's mother comes home, he stands before the disaster proudly as his job starts coming apart, most notably with a strip of wallpaper crawling along a wall like a snake.
